FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Karl Curnock MRICS
Karl founded AltMarkt after almost two decades advising schools, academy trusts, healthcare organisations and public sector organisations on Estate Strategy & Planning, Building Surveying, Project Delivery & Management and Contract Administration. As a Chartered Member (MRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, he combines technical expertise with practical, independent advice that helps clients make confident property decisions.
His work has supported schools, academy trusts, healthcare organisations, public sector bodies and commercial clients with estate condition assessment, capital investment planning, refurbishment programmes, funding support and project delivery.
Before establishing AltMarkt, Karl held senior surveying positions with respected practices across the East of England. That background gives him the technical understanding needed to assess existing buildings, identify estate risk and help clients make informed property decisions.
As Director of AltMarkt, Karl works closely with clients to understand the challenges facing their estates and develop realistic, deliverable recommendations. His focus is on independent advice, clear evidence and practical support that helps organisations move from uncertainty to action.

Tracy Clary
Tracy leads client engagement, business development and strategic partnerships across AltMarkt.
Working closely with schools, academy trusts, healthcare organisations and public sector organisations, Tracy helps clients understand how AltMarkt’s expertise can support their estate objectives, funding priorities and long-term property strategies.
Her role focuses on building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities to add value and helping clients access the right advice at the right time. That makes Tracy an important first point of contact for organisations exploring how AltMarkt can support their estate challenges.
Before joining AltMarkt, Tracy developed extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, community support and service delivery across healthcare, employment support and social prescribing services. This background gives her a strong understanding of public sector pressures and the importance of clear communication, practical support and responsive service.
At AltMarkt, Tracy leads marketing initiatives, partnership development and client relationship management, helping organisations identify opportunities for improvement, investment and long-term value creation.
